Well, since you’ve made it this far, here’s a little bit about us. We’re Charlie and Yaiza, a couple in life, shooting weddings for a living.
We were born the same year and grew up on different islands in the Canary Islands, with very different backgrounds and personalities. That contrast is what gives our work balance. One of us works more instinctively, the other more structurally. We both have our niche, and together see eye to eye.
Filming Weddings is a privilege; for us it’s not about just documenting your day but to be part of it. So you can be yourselves as if we were invited as a guest, just another set of eyes seeing your day unfold. With a little bit of spice.
When we film a wedding, we stay close but unobtrusive. We pay attention to energy, timing, and the spaces in between. We’re practically there to be present throughout your day. So when you rewatch your wedding unfold, you’re not just seeing what happened, but reliving your wedding day through not only our eyes but everyone that was there—think about going back in time and reliving the moment in the present.
We’re very aware of the responsibility that comes with being part of such an important moment in someone’s life. These aren’t just images for today; they’re something you’ll return to years from now. That awareness guides every decision we make, from how we film to how we edit and shape each story.
Our style has developed over years of filming, learning, and making mistakes. We’re always evolving, both personally and professionally, and that growth is reflected in our work.
Outside of weddings, we love good food, wine, mezcalonis, music, movies (especially 90s films), cats, and long conversations. We value getting to know the couples we work with, spending time together before the wedding, and building trust so everything feels natural and easy on the day.
We’re based in the Canary Islands and often work with couples planning their weddings from abroad. We communicate fluently as our languages being English and Spanish and German, fortunate enough to have three different cultures mixed into one.
